Founded in 2002 by a group of pioneering standard-setters, the ISEAL Alliance is a young and dynamic organisation with an influential global reach. Our vision is for a world where social justice and environmental sustainability are the normal conditions of business. We believe credible standards can help to make this vision a reality.
We work with established and emerging sustainability standards in sectors as diverse as agriculture, fishing, carbon, waterand more, to develop guidance and deliver programmes that strengthen their social and environmental impacts. We reach out to governments and businesses which use or are considering using credible standards, to share learning and promote standards as effective tools for meeting sustainability targets.
